The Wrightsville Beach Beautification Program
In 2008 along with the Wrightsville Beach Merchants Association and the Town of Wrightsville Beach, we began the Wrightsville Beach Beautification Project. This long range master plan to update and revitalize the downtown business area as well as other areas on the beach has achieved a great deal. The Town is currently redoing the downtown sidewalks, a new fence has been installed in front of Wings and planting of this area is scheduled for this spring. A new outdoor seating area has been finished between Vito's and the Coffee Shop complete with pavers, hanging baskets and picnic tables. The area adjacent to The King Neptune has been planted with palm trees and drought tolerant plants. Currently, we are meeting with property owners in the downtown area to request assistance in the reworking of an existing parking area along with a face-lift on existing store fronts.
This long range project is in keeping with our mission of continuing to preserve and beautify Wrightsville Beach.
